FS-Prizm Pro Deluxe Skimmer

I purchased this new two months ago from Foster&Smith for $149.99 and am no longer using it. (This is the up to 300 gallons rated version)

The skimmer includes the media basket, surface skimmer attachment, pump and collection cup with drainage hole. I still have all of the packaging materials and paperwork to make things easy.

I prefer to sell this locally to avoid shipping costs as this thing is heavy but am willing to ship if someone is willing to pay the cost.

Looking to sell this for $120 ($149.99 minus about $30 for 2 months of use)

P.S. - No worries about red bugs coming in on this as it's been off my system for about a week dry and will be cleaned with some warm water prior to sale (or any other method you prefer).

How is the Prizm Pro from a noise perspective?? My frag tank is in my home office and I talk on the phone alot. I can't have anything with too much noise.

My reef is in my livingroom right next to where I sit on the couch and I never had any issues hearing the TV. If everything is really quiet you can here it but my fan on my lighting hood made more noise than the skimmer ever did.

Side note - if you ever let the water level get below the surface skimmer THEN you'll hear lots of noise... That woke me up once when I didn't do evap top off for a few days.

Prizms have a muffler built in to the venturi, They are much quieter than other skimmers.

I'll keep this open for another week just in case someone is interested but it'll go on Ebay on 5/20 of still not sold at that point.

If you don't feel the price is fair feel free to pm me with an offer. I definately won't go too low though because the smaller "up to 100 gal" version sells for $90 plus shipping brand new and this is the "up to 300 gal" version.

I just hate to put it on Ebay and charge someone shipping for it...

Also, FWIW the drainage hole on the collection cup can either be plugged or connected to tubing and drained to a milk jug and the surface skimmer attachment can be adjusted to different water levels if you feel like slacking on top off for a few days.

I am also willing to consider frags in exchange. Anything will be considered other than softies, xenia, anthelia, gsp, mushrooms, frogspawn and torch due to I either already have enough of them or am avoiding them completely.

Anything else would be of interest especially chalice, gorgonian, zoas and possibly a rare sps. I have pretty well run out of real estate for sps but could always find space for one more special one. I have two on hold at the LFS that I couldn't live without...
