When I added my copperband butterfly to my tank on the 4th, I knew there was going to be a power struggle that occur. My purple tang and sailfin were barking up a storm and the butterfly was holed up in a corner. I had to make a decision and the purple tang was my sacrafice.
After taking out many corals and live rock, I sectioned off my rock wall with eggcrate and within ten minutes he was in the net.
This also allowed me to break up a large piece or liverock where my clove polyps (Yes Jordan, the sick ones we got) were growing out of control.
Needless to say, I have a purple tang that is about 4-5 inches and is fat and healthy in my 29 gal QT tank.
