FS Showpiece Coral

This Montipora capricornis is really the showpiece of my tank at this point, but will have to go soon. My tank is only 46 g and it is beginning to take up more than it's share of real estate and is shading other things.

The coral is purple with purple polyps, has a very nice cupped scroll shape and is about 8 inches by 6 inches. It is on it's own rock that can easily be removed from my tank intact. The rock also contains a thriving colony of green/ orange zoanthids (50+ polyps).

I hate to see it go because it really is beautiful but I don't want to get a bigger tank or destroy it's perfect shape by fragging it.

This is my first experience with a coral outgrowing my tank.

Anybody have an offer? (and a big tank!)

It would probably be a lot easier to deal with if I fragged it, but I just can't.

Thanks everyone. I found a new home for my coral!

There is going to be a big blank spot in my tank when I take it out on Friday.

Space for new ones!
