Here's a nice stand my brother built. Note: it has a lock and key to keep kids out and has a recess where a tank will fit down into to hide the trim. The tank I had wouldn't fit exactly inside so I added a frame, but it would be easy to modify to fit a tank that's a tad bigger. This thing is solid as a rock due to 2x4 and 3/4 ply construction. The inside could probably use some marine paint or something or leave as is. Self closing hinges. Height = 36" and frame opening on top is 30" x 12.75"
