FS: T5 6 bulb teklight

It is full of bulbs but they're probably ready to be replaced, they've been running for about 14 mos.

This light retails for $309 at reefgeek. I'd like to get $175; this includes the 6 current bulbs (combo of blue+, actinic, aquablue, and 10k), wire hang kit, and the acrylic shield. While I have the shield, it started to warp shortly after I got it, so I never ended up using it...but its all yours.

That is a nice light - I've got one and I'm keeping SPS under it without a problem. My ONE complaint is that it is VERY bright - the leaked light from the fixture (I use the metal legs to stand it on the tank) is too bright for me to comfortably hang out in the room where my tank is (say, to watch tv). You'll have that problem with any light that isnt in a canopy though.I

Here is the way I see it. The lights, either 10k or actinic, are $21+ without shipping. The six lights in your setup need to be replaced, obviously. The total cost of your unit and new bulbs is then the same as a new unit. Pass unless you are willing to make a better deal.

Bottom line, the unit itself new is $309 + shipping. I'm selling my unit for $175, plus you get used bulbs (they are still good if you're tight on cash, just not AS good as new). PLUS, the wire hang kit ($30 value), plus my warped shield ($35 new, but lets not count it).

$175 + (21 * 6) != $309 + ($21 * 6) + $30.

But, since I'd like to move this thing, I'll entertain $145.
