FT aptasia eating filefish

Hello all,

I bought a filefish a couple weeks ago to eat my hundreds of aptasia. I can confidently say, he did it. I do not see a single aptasia in my tank. I would like to pass his prowess onto someone else who needs him. For the price of a frag or two you can take him. . I'm located in Morgan Hill. I will gladly trade for chalice, favia, mushrooms, ricordea or sps. No zoas though.

Hmm I had thought about it. I think my aptasia x will keep it under control if I get more. I let them get out of control and aptasia x just wasn't enough for a while. But now I think I can handle it manually.

Btw the filefish eats frozen shrimp, krill, and mysid.

Offer pellets with the frozen food at the same time.

Does your filefish shows interests in corals? What kind of corals do you have in your tank? Just curious as to what kinds of LPS corals it can be kept with. I know you are not selling, just wondering.

My tank is a mixed reef and he hasn't shown any interest in my corals at all. I have lps, sps, softies and zoas. Most of my zoas recently melted so I don't know if he would eat them though. I also have tube anemones that he leaves alone

I've heard that they'll eat feather dusters. Any truth to that? I was considering getting one.

I have noto seen it eat any and my tank has thousands of small dusters

how big is the fish? My tank is a 120. do you have any clams in the tank? I maybe interested, but I work in Sunnyvale area - not down to Morgan hill area. I could meet at Neptune if needed. Let me know.
