FT: Tyree Sunset monti

Well, after a defeat over the monti eating nudi's I had, I have some frags of my Tyree Sunset monti. Normally, this isn't something that I frag, but under the circumstances it was a must. I don't have pic's, but you are more than welcome to come and have a look and they have been cut for 3 weeks now. Right now I only have about 1/2 X 1X2 frag I want to trade (but it's actually more generous than that). I'm only looking for colorful SPS at the moment as I have somehow converted my tank to about 75% SPS since I upgrade my lighting and closed loop pump. LMK if anyone is interested!


BTW: I know how to get rid of monti eating nudi's if you ever need any help. A hard to find East African Halichores iradius does the trick better than any dip!!!!! They also eat flatworms, fireworms, and pyramidellid snails, I think they should be a must for any reefer. Wish I would have know that sooner.

Things of that nature, or any colorful SPS you may have. We all know what Tyree Sunset Monti looks like, but if you want to trade you would have to send me pic’s or let me see what you have in person first.

Or I guess a nice Ultra Maxima Clam would be okay. I’m also going to have a nice 5 head Super Orange Acanthastrea Maxima soon too if anyone is interested. You can come and have a look at it too!

Also, I'd take several frag's of colorful sps, it doesn't have to just what I mentioned above. Those would be ideal and I would trade frag for frag, so if you have some multi frags, I'd consider those too.

off topic but how was your experience with the fish and it eating the nudis?

As mentioned above, my East African Halichores iradius took care of them.

I have some frags of an emerald color acro that is very hardy and a fast grower that I would trade you. I did some reading about the Halichores Iradius and it says that they "must be kept in an aquarium with a top" due to their innate ability to carpet surf. Let me know if you want to make a trade. I too have about 75% SPS but am hoping to have more.

I've had my guy for about 3 months on an eurobraced 180 w/no problems, even with a hammerhead and dart running almost fully open w/3 ports shooting almost straight up. Right now I'm not in the market for anything unless you have some Tyree stuff, but will have some frags to sell for around 75-100 depending on the size they turn out to be. I also have some Tyree Pink lemonade and Tyree Purple Monster that I might frag sometime too.

I have some ora blue tort and other bright aqua teal and other colors sps. all are small to large colonies.Most my corals came from Phishy bussiness several years ago otherwise from the St.Louis market which is much better then here.I should have pics in my galley of some colonies in the beginning.
