Anyone have one?

This is my third one in 10 years, he is awesome. I am not sure if I am going to get him on frozen or not though. I really like watching his hunting tactics and it seems like he enjoys it.

My other two were on frozen almost immediately. So I never witnessed these behaviors before.

When my lights start fading he begins circling the reef looking for food. He doesn't perch, he actively swims just looking down. Very cool.

But, when he sees a shrimp, it's on. He wags his whiskers and almost hypnotizes the shrimp... Then of course, lights out. Coolest thing I have seen a fish do in a long time.

I have a fu manchu. I did wean it into frozen but at first live ghost shrimp was all it ate. They are very neat fish. Mine did eat a sleeper goby that was almost as long as the lionfish. I recently added a fuzzy dwarf lion to my tank that I like too.

I had a coworker get a volitan sting, it was bad.

How did yours happen?

I was hit by a dwarf lion. It was like a strong bee sting. Hot water for about 5 mins was about all I needed. It throbbed for a few hrs after.
Mine stuck me through the net. My hand was too close trying to keep water from dripping on the hardwood floor. Rookie mistake.lol
