I went to the LFS today and tried to figure out how to set up a fuge in my 60 cube. I understand now why the owner said I didn't have room--there was literally no way to make it fit in the cabinet. So we brainstormed and came up with a working idea: the fuge will be a 30 gallon tall tank on a smaller stand beside my main tank. There will be bulkheads seperating the tank in half, with the back half as a resivoir for top off water.
Which brings me to my question
What kind of things would you recommend for a fuge that's openly displayed? I'd like to put in shaving brush macro algae, but beyond that (and sand + live rock) I'm open to suggestions.
