i would like to get this URL=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7749432579&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1]FUGE COMBO[/URL]

i have a 130 gallon tank. this kit comes with a OVERFLOW rated at 1200 gph. it comes with a RETURN PUMP, a RIO HF 12 HYPERFLOW.

my question is, can the pump handle the OVERFLOW rating of 1200 gph? as the RETURN PUMP is only rated 750 gph?

also if there are any kind souls who have had the same kit, if you could please tell me if its worth the buy? or if i am just wasting money.

reason im getting the kit is because it seems to have everything i still need. though im not sure how the SKIMMER will perform but im hoping its something i can use for a start and probably upgrade in the future.

thanks a lot for you inputs.

Yea, you just don't want a return pump thats too large for your overflow. You can have a smaller return pump then what the overflow is rated for but not more. For example, a 600 gph overflow would handle pretty much any pump up to 600 gph. ( I wouldn't recommend pushing it to the max. I would go with 500 max on a 600 gph overflow. If you run a 900 gph pump on a 600 gph overflow then your going to have a flood because the overflow can't handle the amount of the water being put into the tank.
