Full Grown Zebrasomas

Does anyone have any or have pictures of full grown zebrasoma tangs? All I can find are pictures of <6" fish.

Most all Zebrasomas but the sailfin will stay right around 6", maybe as large as 8" but that's the max. Places like LA must quote the largest ever on record so take the max size on there with a grain of salt.

Nope. All the Purple and Yellow tangs that I saw are just less than 6 Inches. Never see one at 8" before..

Likewise. As for yellow and purple, six inches is the max I have seen.

Forgot about the black tang somehow. I have never seen a small one that was purchased and grow into the 8"+ fish they can be in the wild. Not that it can't happen

Mine has gone from 3" to 5" and growing still. It's been 18months. So it'll be awhile still. Fingers crossed

I've seen 8 7-8 inch diameter yellow tangs in the wild before, but that's it.

Would these extra large wild tangs be suited for aquarium life? Part of me thinks there would be a market for JUMBO sized tangs for large aquariums.

Our black is a good 5-6" inches. Picked him up around 4".

He's growing quick... I don't see him topping out at 6" haha

LOL with an Achilles and possibly an Achilles Hybrid, the matured Chevron and Black Tang... there will be a lot of black :/

Got this guy couple years ago - it's atleast 7 inch/I am 6''6 and have rather large hands - we had to rehome to a local 550g -

Yeah got it from ny aqutics was listed 6+ and I was thinking 5.5 - and got 7 - it was nuts - we only had it as long as it took to find a real tank
