FULL T5 or Mh/T5 combo?

Im looking to build a new setup this fall.

Tank will be 36" x 30" x 16"

Can i light this with 1 400 mh in a lumenarc reflector and t5 supplementation? Am i even close to getting enough light spread to the corners?
If its close with the lumenarc/400 mh would it be better to add 2 - 36" t5s (one on the front and one on the back)

ORRRR

Would it be better to run the 24" T5s at the sides of the lumenarc reflector?? Maybe 2 on each end of the lumenarc?

Would a single 250 work in lieu of the 400 since the tank is pretty shallow ? Thanks!

I have a 250w on my 30x30x15 and it will not light the corners. The question I would ask is are you really going to stick something in the corners? I have about six inches on either side for the cleaning magnet to clear the rock so even though I have a 30x30 surface area, I am only using 18x18 or so which my 250w lights just fine. Since your tank is not square I would go with 2x250 halides and T5 actinics, or just all T5 if you can live without the shimmer lines.

Understandable Rich. Do you have any pix of your setup?

Im thinking the 400w would cover pretty well if i added 2 t5s to each end of the halide...
