Fun Little Experiment With a Very Special Paly

Rescued this guy from a colony of brown zoas that were about to take him over. I got 3 polyps, Not sure exactly what it will color up to be but Im excited none the less! --- Looks like it might turn out to be a beauty!

The light is a 52 LED 8k bulb (20 degree view angle) supplemented with LED Wholesalers White+Blue par38 bulb (I only turn the blue leds on, and these two lights are on a reverse cycle with the main tank)


Anyone help out on an ID?

looks kinda like a super browned out lunar eclipse. the ones with the white skirts as opposed to the red skirts. If so I think they are very cool corals. Pump it with light and it should color up in a month or two!

Try to do some small target feeding once a week.
Some coral food, like Coral Frenzy.

I think its a no-namer but its turning out nice! I like the large polyped zoas/pallys better. Red part glows under actinics
