Yeah, WM does..but he's charging me waaaaaay too much. almost twice what i payed for my tank. im looking for a wood stand....how much would your friend build a steel one? i can add wood skin later on. Let me know bro!!

I'll try to call him later. If you go with steel, I think it is best to powder coat it to resist rusting.

The tank is 60x24x24 .. Even at 24"H, I think there is a good change that the tank will bow.

Agreed. It appears to be a bit on the thin side. Before you drill a hole in it, place it on a level surface and fill it full of water to see if it bows (or leaks).

This way you can still return it. You may not be able to if you drill holes in it. It is a nice looking tank BTW.

Man, i was telling the guy that i wanted 3/4'' but he said 1/2'' thick would not bow so i took his word for it. Planned on filling it tonight to check for leaks so i will see if it bows as well.

You should be able to fill it up right after you bring it home. If it's not ready to fill up, they shouldn't give it to you ..

well, filled it up when i got home....so far no noticable bowing. will leave a couple days to see if any leaks. had to put a k4 in there just for fun!

The K4 is awesome! didnt put my hand in there cuz it was freezing lastnite! haha! but it made crazy ripples from being more than half way down the tank which went across the whole length! DANG IT I CANT WAIT FOR A STAND!!!!!!!!!
