I can't remember that last time I saw halo halo. My folks have an ice shaver.....or maybe they threw it out along with the Turbo Broiler which broke after 10 years of hard labor.

oh man....i remember those turbo broilers! my grandmother use to have those back in the day......i remember the lechon she would make in those. talk about ripping up your gums.....but how could you say no when the mang tomas is right next to it! now ice shavers.........im guilty of still having one.

DUDE, do you guys remember back in the PI when a street vendor would come around with a iceshaved delight, it was pink ( like pepto pink ) but was real sweet ??????

as for HALOHALO and SAGO I just had some last weekend from ONGPING... hahahahha sorry Rommel had to tease you..

My pops used to cook chicken and pork chops in his until the glass pot broke. I'm trying to find an Imarflex one here in the states, but it seems that they are only sold in the PI.

Who would carry that in the BA? There's nothing here in the Central Valley. There are more Filipinos in a city block of Daly City than there in all of Fresno County.
