Good day everyone... can a newby like me (only 2 month of marine tank) handle a fungia plate.. They look very very colorful in the lfs(Purple color).. I want it so much.. but I did some research on it and it may not be as easy as it sound.. anyone please advise...

I think they are pretty easy, what lights do you have? And do you have any LPS in your tank?I feed mine about once a week and none of my fish bother it.

I agree with Qckwzrd. I feed mine once or twice a week. The only reason it's "not easy" to keep is because it requires feeding.

Also if you have fish that stir up the sand bed then it probably isnt a good choice for you.. My molly miller blenny killed mine he always buried it
