funny Japanese swallowtail angelfish behavior

I have a small Japanese swallowtail & she's gotten this new habit of just doing Laps around a rock that's hanging off the back wall glass on the top right w a magnet, kind like a cliff ledge. i'm attaching a video so you get an idea, sorry for the crappy cell phone video but it's all I have. Is this normal, or does any one have a reason or explanation or experience for/with this??

Sometimes individual fish start doing odd behaviors. I have one now that hangs out around the outflow, swims into the strongest current, let's it blow him across the tank, then races back to do it all over again. It's like he's surfing. So maybe your fish is just being weird. But sometimes I guess fish do repeating behaviors when they are stressed. I hope it's the former and that everything is fine. You checked your parameters just in case right? And she's not being picked on right? So hopefully everything is ok.

not that I see, the tank is peaceful. my water has low to med phosphates, but other than that is perfect. it's just weird, she just does continuous laps around that rock for prolonged periods...

The vid doesn't work for me for some reason but I have a Bellus angel, its only about 2" but it is all over the tank busily exploring and sometimes seems to do laps. Its the most "swimmy" fish I've ever seen.

she's about 2", I don't think any one messes w her, not that I've seen but... i'm taking out the biggest fish this week, so it'll be her tank now. either way, today, she stopped her laps for now. weird, but I'll keep everyone posted. and thanks for the feedback
