Hello Everyone,

So about 5 months ago I upgraded from a Nuvo 16g (because I was worried about it cracking) to a Nuvo Fusion 20g. I transferred most everything from the old tank to the new one. About a month through all the corals in my tank bleached. I realized I had been doing a lot of things wrong in this hobby. So thanks to this website I changed several things about this system including the chemistry and equipment. I was running a Kessil A160W in this tank and was not happy with it. I had it for maybe two months and was seeing no growth. I had ran a Kessil a150W for about a year in my old tank and saw minimal growth as well. I recently sold the Kessil and upgraded to an ATI Sunpower Module. Yes I went from LED to T5s and it was the best decision I've made in this hobby. Immediately after a few days my corals started to color up. As far as water chemistry I've gotten very strict at monitoring parameters dosing two part daily. I've also added a GFO Reactor to combat some problems I was having with cyno. I was dealing with cyno for a while and I eventually got rid of it by switching to the T5s, upgrading flow to a Vortek MP10 and adding the GFO. I also run carbon to clear any toxins in the system. At this point this specific tank is almost 6 months old. All my corals have been doing great. My recent edition was an Elegance coral, which I've had for about a month. So far it has been very healthy and even though it is on the sand it is elevated to keep its tentacles from the live rock. Definitely my favorite coral din the tank. I will be updating this forum as time goes on. Sorry for the bad picture quality, working on an iphone here!

Enjoy! :spin1:
