Hi, has anyone experienced anything like this?

As can be seen in the pics, the polyp in question is a mixture of King Midas and Bambam zoas. They were beside each other for a long time before I noticed this.

Curious as to what happens afterwards. Does it stay like this or does it change? Does it grow additional polyps like this?

it should stay that way. You can make your own two face palys that way by letting nuke greens and purple death grow next to each other....eventually and sometimes they fuse together because they are so similar.....there is a fancy name for the process but I forget what its called.....your a luck person cuz thats pretty awesome and rare.

Just a quick update.
There are now 3 polyps like this.

I should separate them into a new frag disc since they dont grow on coralline algae.
