Future BTA tank

sorry about the commentary. you can see some of the building process for the setup here.

Anyway,

2x 175w MH hung 12" off the surface (roughly)
65g tank w/ 20g sump
auto topoff from 5g I/O bucket and float valve
EuroReef 5-2 skimmer
Mag 9.5 return (estimated 750+/- gph)
tunze 6060 (1600gph)
45+/- lbs of LR (NOT all pictured, my 20L is full of LR

the tank is cycling right now, the nitrite is starting to drop, so I'll look for a nitrate spike next.

already have livestock as the tank was a softie tank for just over a year. the following is hanging out in a 20g long.

it includes...
1x pair Amp. Ocellaris
1x Sal. Fac. (LMB)
1x Lysmata W. (skunk cleaner)
1x Mithrax
1x Astrae snail

I'm wondering if the flow is too much?

Seems fine to me! My RBTA does great in my setup. 50g with 250w mh 14k/ sieo 1100, QO 3000, and MJ1200 non-modded. He really really likes the flow. But anemones are like people in my experience. They all like something a little different. Your setup seems perfect to me though.

The anemone will move to where it's happy, so you will get an idea if it likes a lot of flow or not. Mine is in front of a maxijet, and has been there since I got it. Just don't be in too much of a hurry to put one in. Let your tank mature awhile.

As for the tank maturing, it was setup for over a year before I moved it to its new stand. I'm just finishing the cycle (nitrate was around 100ppm today), and then it will be a minimum of 6 months before the BTA goes in.
