fuzzy crab. any idea what it is?

i got this lil guy from a hole in my live rock. just wondering what it is?

Most likely a xanthid species, not something you want in a reef aquarium. Please see the sticky thread "crabs wanted".

I believe you need a more closeup detailed pic so that the experts/vets in this place could probably identify this species.

With the xanthid group, and its extremely large number of members. A photo is not going to get a species ID. Although a photo of the front of the crab with claw details would help to rule out others, not that it matters as this is obviously not a reef safe crab.

he ate a nudibranch that was eating my soft coral that i fed him. so he stays in his lil cup. get him nice and fat and *POOF* puffer food.
