I found this not so little guy underneath some frags in the prop tank today :

Looks alot like either a very flat and red lettuce nudi, or a very big and ruffled falt worm (and this in the tank that recevied the 15x dosage for close to 3 hours last week). I did some preliminary searching but didn't come up with anything on it. This tank is a BB prop tank, with no LR, or anything else aside from some egg crate racks and a bunch of frags.....

It is really long when stretched out.

If dislodged it rolls up into a frilly ball

Any help with IDing it would be greatly appreciated. :)

whoa this thing is weird looking. i'd scream if i found something ugly like that in my tank

haha sorry, didnt mean to spook you ;) but yea chuck it anything weird looking goes into the toilet in my tank :p, i wish i could do that for redbugs :o

I am looking for an ID before I proceed. At the very least I may need to implement some proactive measures to track down and kill any offspring, all depending on what it actually is (aside from just being freaky looking) :)

HA! i found one of those guys last year when i moved apartments and had to tear down a tank to move it! i never found out what it was but, like drake66, i flushed that bad boy. he gave me the willies.

I couldn't make any discernable ones out, just lots of "ruffles" along it's edges when it was "curled up", when it stretches out and/or moves the ruffles all flatten out.

Hmmm. More like a worm then. I would try posting on the All Things Salty forum and see if the experts can help. They may want more pics.
