FW or problem w/ adding new saltwater/topoff to tank to fast

Just started noticing some pieces of my other corals now missing some flesh on em'... first it was my Fireside acro now have just noticed my neon green stag missing some flesh on different parts of the colony....

I have broken off the branches that had the problem...

All the stuff that I have recently gotten VIA trade or purchase have been thoroughly dipped in Lugols or FWE....

Here as some pics, are these FW victims or RTN/STN due to improper saltwater/topoff additions. I don't wait really for 24/48 hrs of mixing salt prior to adding it to the tank.. I put a 5gallon bucket with a SEIO 2600 mixing it.. for at least a couple of hours prior to adding to tank.. same as with topoff.. I make sure pH, ALK and Salinity are on PAR prior to addition...

I am worried as heck as I have a nice Miami Orchid, Green Slimer, purple/blue polyp type monti (tong), Tyree Sunset , GP birdsnest, tricolor acro, tongan acro, micro acro, tricolor bottlebrush etc...

HERE are the pics, Sorry I dont have a SLR camera of type to take the pics...

I have the same issue.
I thought it was not getting enough light...

It only looses flesh on the bottom side?

Some on the bottom sides, some on the sides... but has on the top parts as well where direct light hit em... but I don't see any flat worms when I broke the infected/bad pieces from the colonies... even at night I don't see anything.... maybe I need super magnifying glasses or something ?????

CitS and Elite - did you trade/exchange frags recently? ;-)

Nope,
but mine only does it on the underside.
That's why I think my problem is lights

The frag I gave him was from my big tank and it's a softy. I don't have any pest in that tank.

How stable has your Alk been? Do you fluctuate throughout the day/week? In my own experience, I noticed that when I did not dial in the alk/ca levels so that they remained constant, a couple of my frags began to STN like that. It might not be the water not being mixed well enough, yet might be the fact you are disturbing the balance of the alkalnity when the fresh water is added and that quick delta is what is promoting the bleaching.

That is what I think more is happening since I really don't wait the 24/48 hr rule during saltwater or top off... and basically just slowly pour the stuff in the tank.... I don't have a dosing pump of anything like that...

Funny thing is that I've always done the same thing for over a year and never have had this problem before. my ph swung long time ago but has been good since then.
