G-3 too big?

I have an ASM G-3 with a sedra 5000 and a 70 gl DT with a 40gl sump. I have done the recirculation, ball valve, and mesh wheel mod.

Originally I was going to use the G3 on a bigger tank but that tank has been postponed for now. My bio load is medium (2 clowns, 1 CBB, 2 yellow coris wrasses, 1 chromis, 1 purple firefish, and 1 bangai cardinal)

Would this be to much of a skimmer for my set up?

Thanks

It's a little big, but I did run mine on a 58 but it is happier with more bio-load. You may have to play with the feed rate to get the best skim. A recirc G3 is happier on a 180 but is working decent on about 125 gallons of water and a small bio-load. It rocked my old 125 with a heavy bio-load.
