G. glabrous threat

This male G. glabrous threatens fairly quickly when presented with another similar sized stomatopod.

Very nice. It looks like it i flourescing. Is that a trick of the light, or is that normal, or part of the threat display. As always, great pictures. I wish I could take pictures as good as that...also wish I had a real camera (mine is junk.....)

Surprisingly, G. glabrous does not fluoresce or show polarization.
The colors are a bit more intense due to the flash color temperature, but that is it.
