G. smithii problems...

i have had my g. smithii for a while now, he would always smash hermits day in and day out, but now i dont hear him smashing them anymore, i dont even find broken up shells anymore. he is healthy and is molting properly. but im worried he isnt getting enough to eat.

i do however notice that there are empty shells that have no hermits in them, could he have found a way to get the hermits with out smashing the shell? if there a way i can get him to start hunting regularly again?

i am open to all suggestions

if this is ram man from nano-reef.com i guess it could also be that he is just taking a bit of a fasting period, i was told to feed mine everyday for a week and give him a 3-4 day fasting period that could be it! i just thought about that

mantis' rarely starve to death so i wouldnt worry too much... also my G. Chiragra can kill a snail without breaking the shell so maybe that is the case with yours as well
