I can't really share too much, but it was a proprietary blend of a special epoxy, coloring agent (for tinting to the right color), fine natural sand and crushed pieces of the tank itself from another repair going on topside, above the waterline, at the same time.
Even more important were the techniques used... Not at all what one might expect. The final technique was the use of a 3M pad to "blot" the surface at a very specific point in the curing to get a rock-like texture.
The real active ingredient was epoxy-based, and required mixing to get it to activate and begin curing... If that's what you're asking.
We could have used the stuff to sculpt pretty much anything we wanted. Pretty amazing!
