I bought a galaxea frag last week for $10. It had(sorry I don't know the coral language yet...)5 stems/heads on it,with a few tiny babies at the base. Now, only a week later, each has 3-6 babies(which have doubled in size) growing on their foot! Is this normal growth speed, or am i just doing something really right?
They are so pretty. I love the way they move their tentacles and interact with eachother. Sometimes they move a tentacle down and it looks like they are caressing their babies!
Anyway, my lighting is a 10 watt led bulb made up of red, green, and blue bulbs inside so it can change colors. This is a 2.5 gallon pico, so I'm not sure if that is high or low light. I fed them once or twice with mysis and soggy pellets.
Anyway, and tips or suggestions on further care? Thanks!
