Game over for the red sea purple tang?

No I'm not talking about Anthony.

For those who attended the Oct WRS meeting & watched the newly introduced purple tang get an a** kicking. The fight is over.

I mounted an acrylic mirror to the end of the tank. The achilles & the chevron tangs now have identical twins to battle it out with.

The purple tang is eating well & has just a few marks on his fins. Should look like new in a couple days.

Glad to hear the Purple Tang is doing well. I would of hated to taken the Achillies off your hands!

LOL, 2 daughters grown with 4 grandkids, who wants more kids? But you got to love'em.

On a serious note.
Now all 3 tangs gather at the mirror to fight with their identical twins.
I guess I'll take the mirror down in a couple of days. The plan to wear themselves down to submission may work yet.

Yeah,
I had some sushi after everyone left. They were pretty good. I only eat sushi with pickled ginger (pink stuff) & wasabi (green paste).
Did you notice all the blue ribbons on that board in the fish room? They were from all my wife's cooking competitions.
I'll shoot you a PM when I get the recipe.

Hey....that's a good idea! Everyone brings a 5g bucket of freshly made saltwater + a coral or fish. SWEET!!

tom thanks for hosting the meeting .. later that night my freshly made sump sprung a leak and i had to rip it all apart and start over the next morning .

I remember you talking about the sump you made.
Sorry to hear that. Check out your local Goodwill store for used tanks to drill. I have a 29gal AGA & a 45gal AGA to get rid of cheap, if you are interested in them.

The mirror is down & all 3 tangs feed at the nori clip, with no aggression. The red sea purple tang has all the fins back to normal. Looks better than when, I seen him in the tank I bought him from.
