Gaping T. deresa?

I received this clam on Friday after it was shipped overnight.

Drip acclimated the clam over a period of about 2 hours (maybe a tad less), then checked it quickly for parasites/hitchikers...didn't find any, so it went into the QT tank.

Today, I took a look at the clam and it's gaping! There's also minimal mantle extension and reduced response to stimuli. :(

Parameters are good, temperature was good today....no chiller, but I have a fan + ATO.

What might be the problem and how can I help the clam recover?

Thanks.

I think the best thing for you to do right now is nothing at all. Make sure the calcium, alk, and mag are good. If you move it you will stress it even more. Good luck.

Shipping can be stressful for clams since they tend to get bounced around a bit, just let it be, have good water parameters and just watch it over the course of time.
