Has anyone recently gotten any info from this site. I have talked to them about 2 years ago but now I am not able to get in touch with them by email or phone.

There is a lot of info on RC about Garf. Do a search. I appears that they have a lot of unhappy customers.

The site does have a lot of information and I disagree with a lot of it. They need to update it. It is hard to use.
Their pricing is terrible, why buy their grunge when a good piece of live rock will do the same thing and on RC a lot people say it does not make it to you alive and five little pieces of sps for $100 ( you do not know what you are getting). I do not think it is a research center.

Have you ever noticed that when you do a spell check on RC, sps is a spelling error.

I purchased so parking lot gravel ( graf grunge) from graf a few yrs back, would never purchase from them again. I would agree that a few good pieces of coraline encrusted llive rock would do better.

GARF is in Idaho.

My grunge had pieces of plastic and glass in it. When I called about it, Sally Jo was not a very nice person. Live and learn.

I have ordered from them several times and have always gotten what I ordered. In some cases I got more than I expected (good thing). I think that a big problem is they do not have enough knowledgeable people there. I think they have volunteers as well. A friend of mine actually went there last year, he just happened to be in Boise. How does that happen? Anyway, they wouldn't let him in because of insurnace reasons. This same friend ordered some of their rock and it arrived intact and it looks great. Just my experience with them.
