Gas bubble disease

So my tobacco bass has gas bubble disease in his left eye. It appeared after I did a water change. I usually turn off the air pump going into the make up water drum a few hours before I do the water change, but this time I forgot and didn't think much of it. The air feeds into a sure flo maxi jet pump too. It is a pretty powerful air pump. I think it supersaturated the water. Does anyone have any experience with this.

From what I read so far, all I can do is wait and see if it goes away. Has anyone experienced this in any of their fish's eyes?
