so my old system is almost completely torn down. now i'm thinking about my next build in my new house once it's complete in july. i'm looking to to a shallow reef with three tanks but torn between an all acrylic setup or a glass setup. anyone know who makes nice large shallow glass tanks?

You're really going to like the 2ft depth, will make for some nice aquascaping! Should be neat to see the corals from an aerial view..

I would go all glass and I have heard good feed back on there aquariums. having that tank six feet would look real nice! Frost good luck with the build!

I would love to do six feet but no vehicle to transport one lol. I'm tired of narrow tanks so this would be a nice change. Cheif, were u referring to all glass aquarium company brand or all glass vs acrylic?

i prefer the glass over the acrylic. acrylic imo scratches to easy. Frost go 6 foot the tangs will love you. I will help you move it. Oh ya i almost forgot theres one right next to me empty.

I didnt check out the site for specs, but I would ad at least a couple inches of height to that.. 12 is SHALLOWW

thanks brian, but it's not going to be for another few months. yep 12" is shallow. i was looking for like 14" but it's either 12" or 18", 22"

I am about to be doing a whole new setup as well. I currently have my display a 75g and looking to keep it about the same number of gallons, but I was looking into trying to find/make a 75 breeder type of tank. I still want the standard 48" length, but would like to knock about 4 inches off the top and have the back gain some length for more surface area. Anyone know where I can find one? If not, anyone know a thing or two about where you can have class cut and then know about how to silicone it together? I will check out that greatlakesaquariums site at top of thread later, got to get to class right now but just thought since this is somewhat what I am looking for I would reply in here real fast. Thanks!
