Gauging interest in a group buy on these suckers!!!!

i would take one or two....my tank isnt up yet so if someone in roseville or the area buys some and could hold one or two for me for a little bit im in on this.

I wish I knew how to get them off my main rockwork. I have quite a few of them but don't know how to get it off one of my main rockwork.

Paul,

Did you read: "Certain Butterflyfish might eat these anemones" - expensive treat for your butterfly?

Minh, you have some of these? Can you get to their 'foot?' If so, many times you can gently pry the foot loose with a thin instrument (like a small tong or plastic algae scraper edge) I have removed many anemones from rocks who would have otherwise not moved on their own - without damaging the foot. Sometimes they get really in the cracks and you have to work them for awhile.

Paul,

Unfortunate the rocks that they are on are in the middle of the tank. And the way my rockwork is laid out, I can't remove that rock. I started out with 4 of them, now I have 20+.

Check out the link on the first post. They are exactly like the ones in the picture because I got mine from him.

That sounds great Photon... I am guessing we will come in at like 20-50 when this thread is seen by more people as it just went up late last night. If you can meet that order we would love to stay local. Do you give a MARS discount?? :D (kidding)

MikeB. - I have three tanks and one butterfly so unless he grows legs and learns to walk I am in the clear :D

Thursday evening would work. Let me know.

PS. I paid $12 each plus shipping when I initially ordered them.

Minh,

The little anemones sound a little pesky. If you could go back in time, would you still have introduced them in to your tank?

Pat - if I could do it again, I would have tried to introduce it in a corner on it's own rock. They don't seem to "free float" away, but they will move around like other anemones. The good thing is that they do stay relative small (about the size of a half dollar coin).

stay local with your purchase deal with james (photon) until he runs out and if necessary i know of another reefer in the area with quite a few too!~)

!~)

Minh, could you surround them with smaller rocks then pounce when one makes their move? That would make these more appealling.

Kevin,

It's hard for me to put rocks where they are located. :( I would love to be able to move some onto it's own rock pile. :P
