Alright guys, I will be purchasing a total of 12 refractometers we are only missing 7 to complete the group buy. For those who will be picking up from my house in 90241 or my job in 90031 can start sending the payment of $23.97, please do so before sunday.

If anyone else is interested please post directly on the thread since I don't have time to go through all the pms. If you would like the refractometer shipped, please indicate to me if you would prefer USPS priority or parcel post. The post office is close to my work in 90031.

It would make it alot easier for everyone to calculate their shipping add that to the $23 x 0.29 +0.30, then give me their address through paypal. The weight of the box should not be more than 1lb 8oz.

So I don't mess around with different types of shipping I will be shipping them in one of the priority mail boxes, I think it's about $4.20 for shipping and I get some type of delivery confirmation for free if I print the labels online.

I calculated priority shipping in socal. It looks like $4.20 will be what I pay for priority shipping. I tried upto 2lbs different zip codes and it still came out to $4.20.

So it is $23 +$4.20: $27.20

$27.20 x 0.029: $0.79 +$0.30: $1.09

$27.20 +$1.09: $28.29 paypalled to rbdesigns@mac.com

pick up: Paypal Total: $23.97
Shipping paypal total:$28.29

C'mon guys...paypaling to the penny? Besides, you need to multiply the 2.9% by the total + shipping (.79). If everyone just rounds to the nearest dollar, he can get himself a couple of refractometers free (the least we can do for him). But if everyone cuts him by even a few cents, he will be paying more than we are for these, which isnt fair for all of his hard work. Or maybe I'm just running off on a tangent. :smokin:

If everyone pays to the cent I only lose $3.00, its all good, without everyone I would be paying $40 for each refractometer.

For the people south of the OC, I posted the thread on SD Reefs and will be driving down to their frag swap to hand out the refractometers, when it's the date is decided either the 24 or 25 of June. Sounds good, two more spots left for carpooling to SD Reefs frag swap. If enough people want to go down to their swap, I'll take a chevy tahoe down there. Be sure to bring along some beers.
