I think this is the end of the road for me with group buys. The broker wasn't able to get clearance today, but told me I should be able to claim the package tomorrow. So far I paid a $30 import fee and it looks like I will have to pay the broker $200.
This is really funny, because I don't think I work this hard for my company. I feel like I need to take a vacation after this group buy is over.

Yeah man tell me about it. I emailed the manufacturer. If we would've ordered less I wouldn't have to get a broker because you are allowed to import $2000 for personal use. Then have some kind of disclaimer that the refractometers were samples of no commercial value, but it's too late now. Cash payment people are going to be asd out, cuz I think the ones that aren't paid for, I will put on ebay to cover all the expenses, so no one has to give me any more money.

I guess I read this kind of late. Otherwise, I have about 3 good friend in broakage/transportation that can help me out. Let me know if that is still needed. I am sure that would not charge me for the work.

OK. Let's look at this logically. There were what, 100 of them ordered? And an additional $2.30 (200 plus 30 divided by 100).
To cover everything, why doesn't everyone just send a PP for three bucks?
I mean, it's THREE FRICKING DOLLARS... Most of us probably spend that much on Nori for a week.
I'm down for this if it's acceptable for everyone else; we need to make Ron whole here. He's doing the work and doesn't deserve to take it in the shorts. I feel bad enough just paying for shipping, frankly...
I'm down for this. Anyone else? Let's get a general concensus instead of everyone chiming in, OK? This thread is way long enough as it is...
