gauging interest. sps coral growing challange.

I have joined the challenge. Not that I expect to even be in the hunt for top prizes.
My tank is a 240g 8X2X2 wit one 250 watt XM 10K on a light mover and eight 54 watt T5s. And not enough calcium! I keep adding it and I still don't have enough!

gemini: I Emailed You about your frags.

wishntoboutside: Which one were you saying seams to do best lower in you tank? Thanks for everything!

steve, what are your magnesium levels?

bumpin it up...

How are everyones corals doing?

All mine are doing great except for my Rosaria. i think i have it too close to my lights, and its not getting very good color. my sarmentosa is turning green, tenuis is a light blue, and my Plana is turning a deep purple color.

My plana is branching already(deep pink). Tenius(dark turquoise) is getting fatter, but isnt growing taller.

Rich are there still any frags left over for the RTN? I know your in Riverside. But if your ever down in LA send me a pm;)

My rosaria seems to be doing the best... all are growing well, my tenuis is light blue, my plana is pink/purple, and my sarmentosa is a greenish with blue tips.

My plana seems to be growing the fastest, while the rosaria has new buds.

The plana seems to have a wierd growth pattern... Maybe I mounted it sideways... it was hard to tell that day.

The rosaria, tenuis, and plana are all about the same as the day I got them in terms of color but are encrusting. I am slowly losing the sarmentosa. Never had luck with that one before :(

Yes! :smokin:

lol... yeah this is one competition that i know i will not win....:mad2:

I lost the sarmentosa after the first week.
All the others are encrusting...
rosaria...same color, tips are lightening up, looks like new growth.
tenuis...lightening up from brown to a light green.
plana...branches are turning a light green, with purple tips.

All in all...nothing dramatic.

My rosaria has eyepopping green polyps. Second in nice color is the tenuis... kinda turquoise. Plana... strange growth Pink purple but full polyp extension, sarmentosa.. slowest growth, tips have color.
