GBA Colors fading

I have had a GBA in my 40 for 3 yrs, I have 65w pc retro kit and a 20w blue acitinic. I know this is lower that optimal lighting but he is 3 yrs old. He has always had good color and bulb definition. He has got stringy on me at times. I just moved my reef on 10/14 900 miles away and set it back up"with no losses" He just isn't acting the same. I moved my 80 lbs of lr, expecting it would assist in the quick bio cycling. My first "guess" is that the tank just isn't matured and needs time to get all the levels of natural bio in the water for him to feed. I have and continue to use frozen pump phyto, and reef solutions trace supplement. Now he is smaller and almost white, after 3 yrs I just can't blame the " new bulb 11/1" light set up completely. The only other thing that comes to mint is the " new reefer blues" unavoidable level spikes and dips involved in a new tank. He is alive and feeding but just not thriving like before. I would love to hear some comments from you guys as I simply don't know as much about amemones as some of you do.

Hum bit late but GBA go white becuase of stress. I would immediately go for water parameters if lightings okay. Anemones are very tempremental creatures. having clown fish or a partner shrimp or crab inhabitants can make a lot of differnece to thier well being. It maybe the water do you use Ro ? Are any of the other inhabitants acting a bit strange?

Might look into an upgrade in the light, too...I realize he's three years old, but that doesn't mean he won't benefit from an upgrade.

I agree with a much needed light upgrade. He just shrunk and turned white, he was approx. softball size now he is golf ball size. I can completely agree that he was stressed moving and level fluctuations after the move. The water perams are better than ever now, nothing in the test results explain long term stress. I did buy a clown approx.12/1/06 and he hosted that night, but i have had no reason to believe the anemone is doing better. Is there a single level they are sensitive to that may or may not effect other inverts? Again he is not dying just not thriving, poor nemo can't fit in but doesn't stop trying.
