GBTA and zoos

Man, I don't want to seem harsh, but why do people always post questions like this AFTER they buy the anemone??

Yes - anemones are mobile critters. They can sting and can kill your corals. Period. Some corals seems to fare better than others, but if your anemones wants to do a dance on the zoas it will probably win. Zoas are tough and may survived, but maybe not. This is a consideration that should have been carefully made before putting the animals together.

I know some corals cant tolerate anemone stings but wasnt sure about the zoos as they seem pretty hardy. My nem loves where he is at and never wonders around. But my zoos spread pretty fast and are getting closer to it. I just wanted to know if they got to close if they would be ok or not.

Sorry, that 'ouch' was in response to the comment before my post.

I didn't realize that it was your zoas that are spreading toward the anemone. In that case, the colony will be fine. Most likely the ones closest to the anemone will close, then the colony will continue to spread in other directions.
