GBTA from petco..

Ok guys, this is what the bta looks like now after about 4 days. The gbta has a lot of its color back. I'm assuming its recovering? My mocha clowns is starting to host it as well. He goes from my rbtas to the gbta.

How did you get your Mocha's to get into the BTA's? Mine don't even pay any attention to either of them. I recently got a beautiful large GBTA from Petco too. Mine wasn't bleached at all since it had just arrived at the store the day before I got it. I would have picked up the Ritteri they had but someone beat me to it. Both were on sale. I got the GBTA for $19.99 and the Ritteri was $45. I've got two smaller Rainbow BTA's also. But my Mocha's won't even sniff either. My Female clown was taking interest in my trumpet of all things but has also left that alone. My clowns are just under a year old.

I didnt have to do anything special for my mocha to host the btas, within a day or two they just swam right into it. I was very surprise as well. A trick you could try is to put the btas in plastic like noodle drainer n catch your mocha n put them in with the bta but leave the drainer in the tank. I got one that had like a hook to just hang it from the side of the glass or center brass of the tank.

I guess you mean colander? I'd rather not force it into the anemone as that can be bad. I'd really hate to get rid of my Mocha pair as I really like them and my female is gorgeous. But I really want a pair of clowns in an anemone. I was going to take the Riteri/magnifica they had but someone had already bought it. ONe of the guy's that works there :hammer:

Yes the collander, ithe colander ihave is a good size n room for the mocha to swim around, How big is your tank, mine is in a 110g. The mocha is pretty nice looking clown, i think my is s pair as well. It even host the gbta as well.

My tank is a 40b, I was really hoping that after they've refused to get in the rainbow BTA's they would like the GBTA which is a totally different looking BTA. But they haven't even looked at it.

Ok my gbta has two mouths now, does this mean that it isbin proccess of splitting?

Probably but that is also not likely good. They tend to self split in poor conditions.

It was a rescue bleach gbta from petco for about little over a week now. SO im hoping it will be ok, since the color came back. Plus i was feeding it mysis to help it regain its health. So we will see in a day or two.

So a few days ago i saw two mouths on my gbta, now i notice it got bigger never split and now has one mouth? So what happen?
