GBTA health question

When I first got my bubble tip he got caught in one of my circulation pumps and when I got him out he went straight behind a rock for a few days. I let him be for those few days but I couldn't feed him when he was back there because my fish would take the food away from him, so I moved him out front, fed him and protected him from my fish and shrimp trying to take his food. He went back behind a rock. I let him stay like that for a week and then I moved him out again - I want to be able to monitor him. So he found himself a nice little spot on the side of the tank and he's been there for about 16 hours so far. At least he can get some light this way.

Here's a picture of him under some 10000k T5s:

and with actinics turned on (160w 460nm LED), my camera washes out his colors

So he isn't looking too hot, but he seems to be eating - is there anything I can do for him, or any advice?

Tank is a 72g lit by 160w 460nm LED, and 78w T5 (just to even out the color spectrum). pH is about 8.2, alk 12dKh, calc 440ppm, Mg was 1320 when I checked last week, nitrate 0ppm, phosphate is 0.05 or lower - I don't have an accurate enough test.

Lighting seems like it's good enough.

My suggestion is just to leave the BTA alone. And I mean well and truly alone. Forcing it forwards and trying to feed it are not necessary. Once it feels ready, it'll come out to the light.

It's my same suggestion to a bunch of other people, but that's basically how BTAs are. They just need some time to settle and do whatever they need to do. Once they have, they'll be happy.

Yeah I tried to leave it alone, but I was afraid of it dying where I couldn't see it and nuking my tank.
