When I first got my bubble tip he got caught in one of my circulation pumps and when I got him out he went straight behind a rock for a few days. I let him be for those few days but I couldn't feed him when he was back there because my fish would take the food away from him, so I moved him out front, fed him and protected him from my fish and shrimp trying to take his food. He went back behind a rock. I let him stay like that for a week and then I moved him out again - I want to be able to monitor him. So he found himself a nice little spot on the side of the tank and he's been there for about 16 hours so far. At least he can get some light this way.
Here's a picture of him under some 10000k T5s:
and with actinics turned on (160w 460nm LED), my camera washes out his colors
So he isn't looking too hot, but he seems to be eating - is there anything I can do for him, or any advice?
Tank is a 72g lit by 160w 460nm LED, and 78w T5 (just to even out the color spectrum). pH is about 8.2, alk 12dKh, calc 440ppm, Mg was 1320 when I checked last week, nitrate 0ppm, phosphate is 0.05 or lower - I don't have an accurate enough test.
