Hi I've had a GBTA in my tank for about 2-3 weeks now and first ill tell wht bad things are happening to it then good... So first bad he has still not taken one peice of food from me and is not sticky, and some times he deflates completely, sometimes when the lights are on and sometimes when they are off and when he shrinks or deflates his mouth is open, and now the good, first i just added a clown fish Tht only hosts him during the night, also the anemone is inflated for most of the day, and last he was bulbed up real mostly and has lots of color but sometimes he will be not bulbed up and just be in regular mode haha. So do u think he is healthy or wht???

Srry I don't have any pics cause my phtobuget account is acting weird haha
THANKS

Pics?

Tanks paramters? Tank info (size/age/etc).
Lighting and light schedule?

Can't help you with the info you provided.....we need more.

With out seeing it, it's really hard to tell. I would keep trying to feed it some shrimp, or silversides. The fact that it is not sticky and his mouth is open usually isn't a good sign.

A few things. First, You need to post a picture of what it looks like when you think it is inflated, and when it is deflated and open mouth. Second, like the above have mentioned, you need to post a lot of additional info. Finally and most importantly, a clown taking host to an unhealthy anemone will only decrease the anemone's chance of survival and will impair healing or proper acclimation.
My guess is that you have one or more fluctuating or improper levels that is aggravating the nem', or you did not acclimate properly, or a combination of both.
My first run with an anemone, a few years ago, was with a GBTA. In hindsight, I did not acclimate properly resulting in a near identical behavior that you are describing. It did not make it.... Hopefully yours will.

how old is tank? what lights do you have? what are the nitrates? phosphates? sg? etc... need more

Sethjamto- I can't something is wrong with my Photobuket account and all my tank parameters are good, calcium a little night at 450 and it's a 65gal reef that has all kinds of SPS, LPS, and softies and is about 5months old my lighting is 2t5 fixtures one is a 36in 6bulb current USA fixture that is 234 watts and a 24in 4 bulb t5 fixture that is 96 watts lights are on for 7-8 hours a day not including the value lights or night lights, if those are included the lights are on for 12 hours per day

sfmacguy, I wish I could post pics but agein something is wrong with my Photobuket account, ok I'll do that and the mouth is only open when it's deflated, which is not that often but is happening more then it should, and yes it's not sticky at all.

Louy99- it's was all that when I bought it but it was not sticky, I did not get a chance to touch it...

Ajcanale- cant post pic...agein and water is good and I acclimated him for about 35-45min is that good...

Kissman-the tank is 5 months old with lots of SPS, and LPS I have 10t5 bulbs 6 of them are 36in and 4 of them are 24in, nitrates are 0 same with phosphates everything is good

There are a million other ways to post a picture than through photobucket. I use Imagebam. Regardless, 35-45 minutes is definitely on the quick side, but more important is how you acclimated... not how long. Drip method is definitely recommended with anemones.

So 45min is the reason why it's doing this.....l,

no it isnt. Without some facts though like water params sying everything is good is not really helping . a picture would help tons also.

Nems are not something that you can just get because you want one. your tank params need to be pretty spot on and stable and your tank and husbandry needs to be fairly mature 5 months is not really mature. If any of these are not the case odds are good it will not make it.
