I got a GBTA about 2 months ago. It's been a weird ride since. Within 24 hours of buying her she met Mr. Powerhead and was serverally damaged. The foot and mouth were spared and over the month she regenerated with some hand feeding. She looked great and settled down in the back right corner of the tank. She wasn't in the best spot for viewing, but I could still see her from the side panel and if she was happy, I was happy. She looked really good. Then about 10 days ago she suddenly disappeared. It was weird. I just figured she wanted to move again and would reappear from the rock work in a day or two...but she didn't. So after 72 hours I went looking and found her shrivled up in the middle of the rock-mound were she gets zero light. She went 72 hours with no food or light. She wasn't attached to any rock so I moved her to a new spot with gentle flow and good light. She was good for 2 days. Then she was gone again. I let her go few days and still nothing again. I went looking for her again today and found her burried in the rock-mound again with no light. So in the last 10 or so days she has spent about 8 of them under all the rock-mound, shrivled up, no light, no food. Her foot is a nice deep red color. The tenticles are very small and shrivled. Her mouth is bright white and kind of open. All the water parametres are almost perfect (0 nitrates, salenity is good, 0 phosphates, Ph is 8.2, etc...). No predators or aggressive fish in the tank. Any ideas what is going on?
