Hey Guys
I have a 3-4 week old(in my tank) GBTA. He has been shriveled up all day.. Usually I see something comming out of its mouth, but today I havent seen anything. I hasent been taking the half silversides I have been trying to feed it. And i think I see 2 bubbles that have broken off floating on the sand bed.. Is it reproducing? or Dying? It is still fully green... Just scrunched up.. And the bubbles I see broken off worry me. Thanks

Jon

30 gallon. JBJ dual 65 watt PC 10k and actinic.. It has been fine for the 3-4 weeks it was in my tank.. My params are all in check
The only thing is nitrates are at 10..Not bad but not "ideal"

well the lighting is a little over 4 wpg so thats not too bad. However 3-4 weeks isnt enough time to say its doing fine. Almost all anemones require great water quality; nitrates at 10 is not gonna help. If I were you I would run some carbon and Maybe put some chaeto in there to try to decrease the amount of nitrates. Hopefully it will inflate by later tonight but if its still deflated 24 hours from now I am not sure what you can really do but hope for the best

its not TOTALLY deflated, some bubbles are still inflated...thats the whole thing, it is just shriveled up...I could be jumping the gun and it could STILL be secreating waste.. But I got worriedwhen saw 2 green tenticles on my sand..

i wouldnt worry about anything
leave the tank alone let it get used to your pars and lighting
maybe run some carbon
unless it looks like it is sluffing off or coming apart it should be fine
