GBTA tentacles

I have kept a GBTA under PC lighting for the past year and it has grown to 12" in diameter .
Its tentacles are now long and stringy no bulb shape to them anymore if i setup a MH system will the BTA return to what it looked like ?
Nothing crazy powerful maybe 150W or 250W HQI over a 33g

Probably not. A lot of them seem to lose their bubbles. As far as I can see, no one is quite sure why.

It seems after they get large they just don't bubble any more. After mine split, moma was all tenticle, junior was bubbles. Now both are tenticled.

I don't know if this is true, but I've read that their bubbles can sometimes be caused by stress.
