GBTA with Long Arms?

I was given a couple of GBTAs. They have been doing fine in my tank. They inflate well, eat well, and haven't moved from where I put them in. Each of them has split once. So now I have 4.

The tank that I got them from all had short tentacles with little bubbles at the ends. In my tank that have long thing tentacles. My anemones don't look anything like the mother.

Why would that be?

Temp 80
Salinity 1.0265
Ammonia 0
PH 8.2
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
Alkalinity 7
Calcium 390

I have a Rbta that did the same thing. I'm running a 120w rgb reef breeders LED light. When I had my Rbta under t5's it was nice and bubbled up. I was thinking about changing my light back to the t5 and seeing if that is the reason for the long tentacles.

Lighting makes a big difference as does flow. Really strong lighting and higher flow and they should re bubble. Just make sure to light acclimate, and not too much flow or they will move and hide

As I said, no one really knows. People have a lot of theories (lighting, flow, feeding, etc.), but none really holds up.

For example I have a BTA in a very high flow tank (2x Vortech MP60 cranked all the way up) under strong LED lights. No bubbles. The same was true when I kept them under halides and t-5 lighting with far less flow. Go figure.

For everyone who has a theory, there are several who can say they've tried that and it didn't seem to make a difference.

Just enjoy your anemone and know that it doesn't matter.

I have a rainbow bta that always has very long tenticles. Usually 75% have nice big bubbles the other 25% are long and stringy. Makes no sence.
