I just picked it up today and I think it's splitting or something is wrong.

I've never seen one with tentacles curling up. How old is your tank? And how are your water parameters?

Mind didn't make it when I woke up this morning it was all open up and turning into mush. I just picked it up yesterday what a shame.

I lost one last week the exact same way. I hate it for you! Their so nice but any nem is hard to get established and stress really easily.

Update. I called the Lfs I purchased the GBTA. It's a fairly new store in my area nice guys. I told them what happened and the owner said he would help me out. Not a week later the store calls me and tells me they have a bunch of RBTA and I would just have to pay the difference. I went to the store and picked up a nice RBTA. I have to say what a great store. I have at the anemone in my tank since Saturday and its doing great.

Sorry for your bad luck, but, it's good that the store worked with you.

Is that an RBTA? Looks a little bleached... Did all of the RBTAs look like that?

It's great to hear of a store handling the situation like they should!!:bounce3:

But ya, that nem looks really bleached (sometimes too much light) or light deprived. Your RBTA should be closer to the color of those shrooms on that rock.

The only thing I can think is that my radions burnt out on Sunday. I didn't get the replacement until last night. Lights are up and running now.

Usually those problems develop over an extended time, meaning more than 4-5 days. Maybe the lights washed out the color in the pic. Can you post a pic from a different angle? It looks fairly healthy besides the bleached look - you can bring it back to full health if you're patient and treat it good. Has it tried to move out of the light yet? I bought a green with red tips last week that was a touch light and it's been chilling out under a rock, slowly moving towards the light.

It's also has been in transit for days. It found this spot and has not moved yet. I did notice when I put the radions on it filled up that's when I took the pic.
