Good afternoon all,
After a bit of advice regarding my GBTA....the nem has been in the system for several months without any issues, feeding well and hosting my Maroon Clown from day 1.
On Sunday evening I noticed that surprisingly the clown was not in view and soon after saw that that the nem was not where I left it Saturday evening!!
I have covered the powerheads and now muse on what may have caused the issue??
I have not made any alterations to the lighting/flow in several months and am at quite loss as to what has happened....without tearing the reef apart I cannot see the nem in the rockery at all, but as the clown is always inside too I suspect the nem has gone into hiding for some reason....
Everything else in the system looks perfectly well so I'm fairly certain that the water is in good shape, although I must confess to not carrying out water tests at home - rather I take a sample of water to my LFS periodically for a check up, so I cannot confirm the results as we speak....
I did think that the nem looked really healthy last time I really looked at it and wondered if it might ever split....would the nem go into hiding to split maybe?
Any thoughts/comments really appreciated
Paul
