Guys Check this out I was in Sacramento local fish store and saw a small Gem tang! it is amazing looking, I saw some online for about 3G and this store have it for $2500. But they have the tang in a 29 Oceanic biocube which a bunch of rare corals.. The owner want to sell the whole system with the fish for $4000. I video recorded the tang check it out! let me know about the fish!

I was up htere and saw the fish it looked good. But the corals are notheing special. It would be a better deal if the whole thing was 2500. Plus when I asked about the fish they told be 3000 for the fish alone not 2500.

Ohh is that right? I saw some nice orange mushrooms and many rare zoos. Some of those orange/pink mushrooms are like $120-150 a peice. Yea the owner wants $2500 when I was there. Ask for someone that sure about the price. It's a new tank, maybe they stock more corals since the time that you're there.

I was there yesterday afternoon. And the orange and pink ones I saw looked very unhealthy. I dont really are about the price as I would not buy it I was just passing the info I recived on. You seem to be awfuly defensive about an expesive item thats not yours or is it ? Do you work there or something?

I saw the fish also, the fish is nice i guess, rather small, and the tank is nothing great and very dirty i think for a tank that costs so much, one would think they would take care of it better.

I'm not defensive, I'm new at this reef stuff, to me those corals are pretty nice and rare pricey. I like expensive stuff and like to know more about it and like to know more information and feebacks. and I dont think that is defensive at all.

There looked to be some nice hot pink ricordia in the tank tywo that I could see, but they were on their way to melting into oblivion. I am not sure what else was worth $500, maybe the biocube itself but that seems pretty pricey. I was told the fish was $3500. Funny I had heard from another reefer who had been in there to see it that the gem tang was $2500. I wonder...different prices if you are a local and known versus a stranger, me...lol. Darn cute fish. She would be awful sweet in my cube.

2500 for a fish that insane especially because it looks like a purple tang with ick....

LOL, that was a pretty good one. But seriously, she was gorgeous. Way prettier than a purple tang with ick. I wish these fish were a little more avaialble in our country. I am not a big Tang fan but I really like the Gem tangs.
